SAP Business One Customizations and Integrations Programming With SDK Libraries
SAP B1 is friendly to Microsoft Visual Studio developers through the so-called Software Development Kit. In the next version 9.0 expected in the fourth quarter of 2012 it was rebranded as ‘Business One Studio’. Let’s make a brief technical statement and then try to discuss case studies and answer popular questions. Let’s start with the SDK parameters:
1. UI API. The ‘UI API provides access to windows, menus, and events in SAP Business One. The UI API allows you to create new windows, modify existing windows, add new business concepts, add or change application lists, and more.’ After being identified from the ‘Center Center’ we would like to point out that changing the user interface may be a risk for future projects such as upgrades. We encourage you to focus on the combination types and see the next paragraph
2. DI API. The ‘DI API provides a system interface to SAP Business One through multiple business functions. The DI API provides access to the business logic and data fields of SAP Business One.’ It is easy to review the compiled code and rebuild it with a new set of DLLs
3. DI Server. ‘DI Server is an extension of the DI API and supports all its features. They are designed to integrate high-quality data, where multiple client connections need to be monitored simultaneously and managed quickly. It is also suitable for web development.’ Here you need to think about the functionality a lot
4. Code examples are available in C# and VB. This is one of the reasons why you should consider coding in these languages. However if you are free to translate it to your favorite .Net language feel free to submit it
5. Table structure. Here you need to integrate the client interface with the SDK. Enter B1 and menu View-> System Information type. Open the form in which you need to know the table and place the cursor and read the field and the name of the table in the lower left corner. Type the name of the table and search in the Help Center. Try doing the following. Open the Sales Order form and place the cursor on the Customer field. And you should see the field Name CardCode and the table ORDR. Then review this table in Search Center Help. If you are comfortable accessing the table yourself directly in the Kit then go to Customization Tools -> Database Table Reference
6. Integration. It is important that we start creating user-defined tables on the client side and use them as production objects. You can insert records into such a table directly via SQL insert statements because they do not participate in business logic. Next is the DI API program in Visual Studio where you read the records from the table and create AR invoices, Purchase Orders, and more.
7. Integration with Linux and PHP. This is a common request because the ecommerce portal settings are usually in MySQL on the Linux platform. A good idea is to consider SOAP XML Web Service with SDK libraries. Web services are computer neutral and can be called from Linux
